City of Ovilla has contracted with Blackboard Connect-CTY to augment Ovilla's primary emergency services and existing communication channels to keep residents better informed. 

Future messages may contain information and directions regarding issues such as water contamination warnings, when a child is missing, or street closures in certain areas.
